Reminders
A few weeks ago I reminded a friend of this verse when they had forgotten, and today they reminded me when I had forgotten. So, I thought I would share it with everyone. It is a good reminder no matter what circumstances we're in and how bad we think we've got it.
2 Corinthians 4:16-18
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away,
yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us
an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen.
For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
Amen and Amen!

Thanks Meg. This is a good one to remember even if life is good! I have been thinking a lot lately about how to get my focus off myself and more on eternal things that really matter. I get so narrowminded and focused on my little bubble of life, that I forget that I am not my own. : )
